Leclerc
The LECLERC MBT enables armoured units to fight, win and survive even when outnumbered by enemy forces. Its real on-the-move firing and destruction capability at a high rate, its outstanding mobility and the fitting of the FINDERS® (UAE) or SIT ICÔNE (France) Battle Management System enable it to set its pace to the enemy.
The LECLERC engages the enemy at 50 km/h on any terrain. It can fight both by day and night, whatever the weather conditions and in contaminated areas.
Its multipurpose modular armour, "hunter killer" role, stealth features, agility and long-range kill capability make it the survivor.
Its operational effectiveness has been permanently improved (with the incorporation of new technological advancements) and the Leclerc is today in production in its latest version for France, the S-XXI series, which particularly includes three major improvements: new composite armour improving further the survivability, fitting of a Battle Management System known as "ICÔNE" and a new generation thermal camera.
